You can babysit from home, sell Mary Kay or Avon, etc.
Nearly all major corporations hire salespeople, technicians, and regional consultants to work out of their home. They typically require a degree and some experience.
I am a Product Manager and I work from home on occasion, but not regularly. We have a few of our corporate travel agents that work from home and the lady that seats our customer CSI calls works from home.
You typically have to get in with the company and prove yourself.
